Ooido started with a simple annoyance. Two engineers in Switzerland were tired of calling around every time they needed help, and built the booking flow they wished already existed.

Dimitrios and Joel met at work. Dimitrios kept hitting the same wall: need a painter, a mover, a driver, and you spend the evening on the phone. Prices were unclear. Nobody could tell you who was free. Booking meant another round of messages.
He brought that to Joel. Joel builds the product, and he was in straight away. In 2025 they started making the app they had been looking for.

Dimitrios lives in Bern, Joel in Zurich. They built Ooido themselves: iOS, Android, the backend, the website. No big team and no investors. Just a clear idea and two people willing to ship it.
That still matters to them. Dimitrios knows the market and what people actually ask for. Joel turns it into software you can tap and pay with.
